As small-budget newlyweds, destined to be moving and living in small apartments over the next few years, our aim is to stick with necessary and useful items. The apartment we have chosen is already furnished, so we will be needing even less things than we originally thought. However, a few small home-making pleasantries to make the place our own will be appreciated.
Registry:
We are registered on Amazon and at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.
Decor:
If you prefer to make or choose something on your own and wish to know our decor style and color scheme, here is little cheat sheet for you. (Click pictures to enlarge)
BedroomStyle: French Romantic/Cottage Chic
Colors: Lavender and creamy white
Bathroom
Style: Floral, Shabby Chic, Vintage
Colors: White, pale pink (and other pastels)
Kitchen
Theme: Cherries

Gift Cards:
Some things we would love...
Walmart: Whatever registry items we don't receive, we'll probably get at Walmart. Plus, you can get almost anything there.
WinCo: This is the best grocery store to use in Pocatello, so we'll be shopping here a lot! And we kind of think we might need food or something.
Hobby Lobby: For those "home-making pleasantries." Hobby Lobby is Melody's favorite place for home decor!
HomeGoods: Another of Melody's favorites.
REI and Sierra Trading Post: We both like camping, and it's a good way to go for cheap vacations! However, we'll need some equipment first, and these are Caleb's choice stores.
Amazon: Because what can't you get from Amazon?!
Cash: Not really a gift card, but we'll probably be touring some yard sales for home items at extremely reduced prices! Then we'll move on to thrift stores. :)
Panda Express: For when we could use the extra special treat of orange chicken.
Chick-fil-A: This we would use only on trips since there isn't one in Pocatello, but rest assured, we would find a way to use it. ;)
+Any date night restaurant of your choosing (preferably one with a location in Pocatello, but Boise works too)!
Other Ideas/Requests:
Caleb and I were both a little lost when it came to choosing a knife set, so we just kind of registered for a couple of basic things and called it good for now. If you have a favorite kind you'd like to get for us that you know works well, that would be appreciated! (Just do get a gift receipt in the event that we end up with doubles.)
Additionally, we welcome those basic household supplies that everyone needs and has to continually purchase when they run out. :)
